Our programs help our youth shape their own values, while providing them with all the tools, resources and support they need in order to evolve into confident leaders tomorrow. At Troop 1001, we believe that children are the very essence of the future. Who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are raised and nurtured today. As one of the Scouts BSA Troops in the Katy area, we go above and beyond to provide our youth an empowering environment where they can fully embrace their identity and gain all the skills they need to be leaders tomorrow. Our goals are to shape the way they live their lives and teach them the fundamentals of social responsibility, healthy living and cultural acceptance. All content is related specifically to Troop 1001 and its policies and operation; further, this site is not endorsed or maintained by the Sam Houston Area Council or the Boy Scouts of America.

Troop 1001 empowers youth in the Katy area to reach their fullest potential through a wide range of services. Including but not limited to volunteering at events for our chartered organization, quarterly roadside cleanup, and working with our younger Scouts at the Pack level. Each time providing our youth the chance to get involved in the community. Come experience it for yourself today!
Fundraising Opportunities
Making a Difference One Child at a Time
At Troop 1001, we strive to empower the lives of youth in the community through a variety of programs. Our Fundraising Opportunities are designed to provide the Scouts with all the tools they need to be great leaders tomorrow. Funds raised help Scouts attend programs such as National Youth Leader Training, Summer Camp, Winter Camp, and High Adventure Treks, in addition to monthly outings and campouts. Our belief is that money should not be a barrier for youth to experience the great benefits of Scouting.
